From Neil Gaiman's blog - just to make me laugh..
I have just read the TSA list of permitted and prohibited items in full.
Toothpaste is out.
Hairgel is out.
"Topical or rash creams" are out.
Lip gels are out.
Shampoos and conditioners are out.
Personal lubricants are... just fine.
I blink. I find I'm suddenly unsure whether or not that means exactly what I'm certain it does mean, so I google "personal lubricants" and yes, it's talking about exactly what I think it's talking about. Up to 4 oz. of personal lubricants are just fine.... practically the only liquid you can take with you onto a plane.
um....
I think I must be losing it.
For a moment there, I really planned to drive up to a drug store, buy a 4 oz container of personal lubricant, empty it out, wash it and refill it with toothpaste.

well I am back from spain but i wonder why i am bothering telling you (my non-existent reader) this given the complete lack of response to my last post. ho-hum. i think the only purpose this blog is serving is to remind me that i am not always unhappy. (and so i comment on mc's blog.) so so long farwell etc.

well my photos of Japan are up on flickr! -well half on them are- it seems you can only have 200 photos there....
it is very hot and humid here- but at least it cools down overnight- my office is way too hot to work in! so I am trying to work at home- not always successfully...

12:07 am - my birthday...
so yesterday (i guess technically)
was my birthday - which was ok I guess-
I got a bit depressed yesterday (the 7th) what with exam marking and it being my 30th birthday am me still being single and yet another of my ex-boyfriends getting married.... will I ever find a boyfriend???? but today was ok - the marking seemed to go a lot easier... I only have to mark half of question 1 now and I am finished... and I am off to japan on saturday - and everyone who I invited came to my birthday dinner ( OK I wasn't that ambitious- but still - it was nice that they came!) and so it was ok.... I still would like to fell less lonely though...
